Why contact your MP?
JumpStart is calling on members of the public to contact their local MP and urge them to reach out to and support the JumpStart campaign. With Parliament having risen for summer recess, MPs are now back in their constituencies, and there is a strong window of opportunity for members of the public to have their voices heard. By contacting your MP and introducing them to the campaign and its objectives, not only can you raise the campaign’s public profile but you can also help it secure the crucial Parliamentary backing it will need to affect change. Survival rates from out-of-hospital cardiac arrests have not improved in over forty years, and it is time a practical and targeted solution is put before Parliament.

Should you wish to email your MP, refer to the ‘email address’. For most MPs, this will be firstname.lastname@parliament.uk, but always check as some longer-serving MPs may have more unique addresses.
